Villatuerta to Villamayor de Monjadin

We had the pilgrim's dinner at our albergue last night. Salad, paella, wine and dessert for 13 euros, room was 12 euros, 50 for both of us. Our table had a couple from Missouri, gal from Germany, gal from California and the two of us.

We have talked with people from everywhere.  For a few days in a row we kept running into the same people-3 from Canada, cousins from USA, a group from  France that stayed at same hotel as us in Pamplona.  Small world on the camino. Yesterday and today we had short days (11 miles and 8 miles) so we may not see the same people again.

We talk to people as they pass us or we pass them, everyone walks at a different pace. When we stop for cafe, lunch, or for the night we have more opportunities to talk to pilgrims.

No cell phone on this trip.  We only have  an itouch with us. We rely on free wifi and/or tonight's albergue hosts to call ahead and book next nights lodging!

Updating the blog via the itouch - tiny key pad.  The itouch is our only camera also.

Thunderstorms last night but clear and cooler today.

We started out at 7:30 today in the dark and stopped at 1:30 and did the usual routine - laundry.

Dinner tonight in the towns only joint.
