No wi fi tonight, this is September 21 blog
We rolled out about 7:30, stopped at the gas station on the way out of town for cafe con leche and te con leche. The service guy was so nice, gave us some biscuit things and the coffee was great and the price was good too. The sunrise was extra spectacular.
It was a tough slog today. We did over 16 miles today-we were ready to take off the boots at mile 12-13. The first town was close to 10 miles and another tiny town came at mile 14. The Meseta was flat and today was sunny and hot.
This was our first day when we didn't go through a town every 4-5 miles.
Tomorrow we will go past the half way point in our long walk and we are only going to go 8 miles.
One of the tiny towns we went through
Our home for the night, 9 euros each, 4 in the room with bathroom, bunk beds.
And the sunset
