Burgos

We're staying tonight again in Burgos - our first full rest day on the Camino.  Quite a few pilgrims are staying over in Burgos and then setting off again.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be long walking days, 13, 12, and 15 miles per day.

We met two women from France who have already walked 1,000 kilometers. They started in Le Puy, they are really out for a long walk and they are staying  another night here as well.

A gal from Nova Scotia is taking the bus from Burgos to Leon and will start walking again from there.  She's running short on time and wants to skip walking through the Meseta area - a flat somewhat barren wheat growing area. We will be walking through the Meseta for 2+ days.

Having a light dinner tonight, come back, pack up, and try to get an early start tomorrow. We can take our time walking tomorrow because we made a reservation at a small casa rural.
