O'Cebreiro to Triacastela

Started out with a star filled sky and within 10 minutes we were walking in fog.

Pilgrim statute

Walked for over an hour and then we stopped breakfast.  Great omelette and coffee

For a while the path was parallel to road

In Galicia, markers are every .5 kilometer

We shared the path

Another good cup of coffee

Huge old chestnut tree

Home tonight, Albergue Complexo Xacobeo, 9 euros each

Dinner 10 euros each- soup for me, green beans for Mare, lamb chops, torta de Santiago for dessert and vino tinto. Restaurant is same place as our albergue.

The soup

The green beans

The lamb chops and vino

Torta de Santiago

We've walked over 400 miles and today I got my first blister, that stinks.

The walk today was good - 13.2 miles, coffees and teas were good, dinner was good, albergue is ok!, tomorrow we walk to Sarria - 11.6 miles,  we meet Janet and Victoria in 2 days, everything is good.
